#students lives matter

रोटी, कपङा और मकान

The above three things are not a luxury but a necessity for everyone, but how these three things are possible without income and employment? Also, a person needs equal opportunities for employment to led his life on his own terms especially in a democratic and republic state like India.

Government jobs are the most fascinating job sector among the people of the age group of 20-30, but the worst fact is that the situation is quite humiliating for students. Fake promises in the election, bureaucracy, politics, poor governance are destroying a lot of lives and precious years of the young generation.

Students are struggling with what they deserve.

RRB NTPC: 1150 crore scam

It was the time of the election in March 2019, when the so-called Development-oriented MODI Government has announced the recruitment of 90,000 candidates for NTPC(Non-Technical Popular Category) and group D by RRB(Railway Recruitment Board), around 2.3 crores students have filled the form as huge no. of vacancies were announced, which is the most in the recent years.

Total no. of candidates = 2.3 crores, Form fee = Rs.500/-

Total income = 2.3 * 500 = Rs. 1150 crores

1150 crore is the total amount that was collected and promised by the government that they would refund Rs.400 after the CBT examination which came as a fake promise and fooled students for votes, the exam is still in halt for more than 1.5 years, no money is refunded to the students until now. In fact, students have lost all hopes of this exam. The question that arises here is ;

Why such fake promises and lending of such huge money from poor students who think twice before filling a form and that too by promising a refund of Rs.400?

Why not call this an official scam by the government?

The government should accept that they cannot give jobs, but why are they raising hopes among the students who can't fill his/her stomach. This shows the intention of the current government that they are doing politics over exams and playing with the emotions of a young government job-seeking aspirant.

SSC CGL: A corrupt body

SSC(Staff Selection Commission) which is responsible for the recruitment of group B and C employees, which is highest in terms of the number of employees in India, has become the most corrupt commission or exam body in India, it has always been indulged in big corruption and scams in conduction of exams for many years. Poor functioning is the most frustrating thing in SSC CGL exams every year, but the new form of functioning which has started in 2018 is the most devastating form.

It's been 850 days since the government announced the examination. They are just ruining the future of the student who started preparing for government jobs in 2017 and still wandering unemployed. It seems like the hypocrisy of the government and its institutions who are ambitious about "ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT" but couldn't examine 50,000-55,000 copies in 8 months.

Other Exams

I cannot put the situation of all the exams which has created a lot of uncertainty among students, be it the state government examination or central government examination. There are many exams in which there is no joining letter is given despite taking all forms of exams.

  • Bihar SSC(10+2 level):- Announced in 2014, the result declared in 2020. 6 years destroyed.
  • Bihar BPSC Assistant Engineer vacancy February 2017:- 10,000 applicants, no exams.
  • Jharkhand CGL 2019:- not conducted.
  • JTET 2016:- result pending.
  • Panchayat Sachivalaya 2017:- final result pending.
  • Jharkhand Police special branch January 2019:- result pending.
  • Jharkhand Excise Constable January 2019:- result pending.
  • UPSSSC UP village development officer exam:- announced in 2018, all exams conducted, document verification pending since December 2019.
  • UPSSSC Excise officer:- announced in September 2016, no information till today.
  • Chattisgarh police 5 categories exams:- announced in 2018, no exams till now.
  • IB security assistant exam 2018:- Tier 1- February 2019, Tier 2- September 2019, Interview - December 2019, all verification is done, no joining letter.
and many more.........................

As you can see a lot of malfunctioning is being practiced for a very long time. Exams are not being conducted on time. If exams are conducted in time results are not getting released. If the results come, joining is not being done in the proper time.

Do the student's lives matter?

The government is achieving milestones by conducting elections in just 2 or 2.5 months, but they couldn't find a proper agency to conduct RRB exams in 18 months. It is clear that the government is making us fool especially in the case of RRB exams to get the votes of youth. In the growing competition in government jobs, we can see there is huge uncertainty in these jobs, it has become a career-threatening job sector.

It is good to fight for justice for the son of Bihar, Sushant Singh Rajput, who was a celebrity, but what about all those sons of Bihar who suicide themselves due to such irresponsible behavior from the government and commissions. If JEE and NEET exams can be conducted in such a time of COVID, why not other exams. No media sensationalization, no breaking news, indeed media has become a damaged pillar of democracy.

If authorities like UPSC are doing a good job in conducting exams in a regular manner, then what is the problem behind other authorities. If articles 370 and 35A can be abrogated and CAA is amended by just a parliamentary resolution, then what is it taking to conduct exams which should be conducted yearly. Talking about ideology and governance are two different things. Taking votes by fooling students is the new normal.

Generally, the problem starts when we treat politicians as GOD, who are just public servants.

Student's lives matter only when the elections come, after 5 years.
